Dan (Admin) announced earlier this month that Dreamhost had recently increased upload limits. As such, comic uploads have been doubled for SmackJeeves.
Known article Crow13 strikes again. In his latest quest for control, he has started a group comic called "Terms of Service." Alas, after inviting many SJ members to become authors of the comic, his belligerent, demanding and often absurd attitude has caused partners in his endeavor to quickly back out.

With 2,959 posts at last count, the 5000 thread doesn't show signs of slowing down. With only 2,041 posts to go, the race to be the 5,000th poster is getting intense. Participants are more serious as the final post grows ever closer. "We'll start seeing some real posting, now," says an observer. "Perhaps even some dirty, underhanded posting."
Last month, our beloved editor in chief, Cutething, issued a challenge to forum members, and they rose to it beautifully. Posters created halloween avatars that often parodied their usual one. In an amusing attempt to "get in on the action" another thread has cropped up encouraging posters to create Thanksgiving avatars. Alas, this thread has not been nearly as popular.
