Smack Jeeves Hits Record Numbers
According to Dan, Smack Jeeves now has many great accomplishments in terms of numbers. Smack Jeeves now boasts over 3,000 comics total, over 50,000 comic strips, and over 250 strips uploaded per day. Other impressive feats include 100,000 comments total and about 800 comments posted per day.
New Template Management System
A template management system has been added to Smack Jeeves. This allows users to do many things to customize their templates. Users now have the ability to create templates and save them for later use. Also, users can pick multiple default templates instead of the one default that has been in use for over a year.
More Incentive to Donate
Dan has announced that he is thinking about changing the price of donator codes to $5.00 from $10.00 after the initial purchase of a $10.00 code.
Smack Jeeves TOS created
Smack Jeeves has a new Terms of Service page. This has been created to help enforce rules which have previously only been written on the forum. As a result of the ToS creation, Dan decided to unban anybody who has been banned from Smack Jeeves in the past.
Hot Topics: From page 15 on, the blingmobile show has turned into a thread about random acts of violence and Pulha’s genitilia. Prior to page 15, bling had 5 guests total, Nutronic, Smeone-So-Awesome,Vitotamito, Beany, and Kyo. The "show" has mainly been a parody of American television and stereotypes about gays, poor people, etc…
It has come to the attention of some Smack Jeeves user members that there have been unofficial AIM Smack Jeeves chats. Many suggestions about other places to hold the chat have come up, and people that want to be included can post AIM usernames in the thread to be a part of the chats.
In the long count to the number 5,000, one post at a time, this thread has been moving surprisingly fast. At time of writing, the Smack Jeeves community is at the number 2,073. While there are still almost 3,000 posts left, the Jeeves community is quickly counting to 5,000.
